A healthcare app

A study Case for digital healthcare apps

Brief / A health center wants to offer residents higher accessibility and a better experience of primary care with the help of partially digital reception. Preliminary studies have shown that there is a desire on the part of patients to handle more doctor visiting digitally, that there are significant time savings for both caregivers and patients. Another benefit is a reduced risk of infection, as patients can stay at home in many cases. To design an app that the resident can use for digital healthcare consult with the health center.

Process / Understand the need for improving a digital healthcare app. Research the current digital healthcare apps, what are the benefits and functions are missing. Interviewed the users and to find out what needs they would want to have in a digital healthcare app. Collecting all the user pain points and analyze the issues. Processing ideation and documenting and sketching the solutions. Prototype the new concept and testing with users.

Solution / As a UX Designer, my work revolves around helping people make sense of their complicated healthcare journey. It bases on my research and interview with the users. I inspired by how we use a digital map. Imagine when the user navigates on a 3D human body map, it tells which part and name along with where user point at the human body map in the app. With these solutions that make healthcare accessible, understandable, and delightful for this healthcare app's customers with a user-friendly design concept. Please see the examples below.
